How to get to Copenhagen?

There are many ways to travel if you are going to Copenhagen for the COP15 or any other reason. However if you want to travel in a sustainable way you can find the timetable for all European trains at www.ecopassenger.org and compare the carbon footprint between the different modes of transportation.
A number of UIC members are offering special fares for people participating in the COP15. So please follow the evolution of this site where we will promote all special fares for COP15 participants.
If you are coming from Germany, DB are offering carbon-free COP15 tickets at a special fare in first or second class from any DB-station to Copenhagen and return. To book call the DB hotline, telephone number +49 1805 31 11 53 and quote “COP15” as the reference.

If you are coming from Sweden, during the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen Dec 7-18th, SJ will add an extra stop in Örestad to allow for participants of the conference to travel in an enviromental friendly manner to and from the conference. The extra stop in Örestad is only during the conference, by all X 2000-trains between Sweden and Copenhagen. Read more at www.sj.se
